Prerequisites:

  • Chromium Browser (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Opera, Brave) (NOT Firefox or Safari)
  • 1+ Brain Cells
  • FlexiSched++ Dev build (Version 0.0.1-beta) [Download]

Installation

1. Download FlexiSched++

Click the link above to download the zipped up chrome extension.

2. Unzip the extension

Extract the contents of the zip file to a folder of your choice, preferably somewhere you can easily find it.

2.1. If you're on Windows

Right click the zip file and click "Extract All". Then, select a folder to extract the contents to.

2.2. If you're on Mac

Double click the zip file to open it. Then, drag the contents of the zip file to a folder of your choice.

3. Go To Your Browser's Extensions Page

Every browser has a different method to get to this page. However, most chromium browsers have it at chrome://extensions

4. Turn on Developer Mode

This can be done by clicking the toggle switch in the top right corner of the extensions page for Chrome, or on the left side for Edge.

5. Click "Load Unpacked"

This can be found in the top left corner of the extensions page for Chrome, or on the right side for Edge.
Then select the folder containing the extension files, this should have a manifest.json file inside.

If the extension has been successfully loaded, you should see something like this

6. Go to FlexiSched++

Click on the FlexiSched++ icon in your browser's toolbar. If you don't see it, click the three dots in the top right corner of the extensions page and click "Show in toolbar".
Once open, hover over the ? icon in the top left corner and click "FlexiSched Login".

Enter your FlexiSched domain (the URL you use to access FlexiSched) and hit "Continue".

7. Login to FlexiSched

Log into FlexiSched as you normally would.

You're done!
